Christine Kiecha

Managing Director Kenya Office

Christine Kiecha is AIR’s managing director in Kenya. Her key responsibilities include acting as AIR’s point of contact for office management and business development in Kenya; working with AIR’s senior leadership to develop future business opportunities; and gathering data to provide information about social, demographic, economic and funding trends. She is also leveraging and expanding existing mechanisms focused on identifying new business opportunities. Kiecha establishes and maintains relationships with potential partners and provides leadership and oversight to Nairobi office staff, as well as overseeing the office’s administration to ensure compliance and operational efficiency in collaboration with AIR’s headquarters, finance and human resources management.

Kiecha provides program management and technical support to U.S. government-funded projects, for example, most recently, as project director for the Performance Evaluation for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) East Africa Regional Environment Project. She has extensive experience in managing USAID- and Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)- funded high-impact projects in health, agriculture, economic development and institutional strengthening.

Prior to joining AIR, Kiecha was a deputy chief of party for the USAID-funded Mission Organization Support Program implemented by Dexis Consulting Group; and project director for several other USAID- and CDC-funded programs.
